Formaldehyde Removal / VOC Removal
What is Formaldehyde?
After renovation, formaldehyde can be present in indoor environments as a result of the off-gassing from certain construction materials and products. Renovation activities, especially those involving the installation of new building materials, paints, adhesives, and other products, can introduce formaldehyde into indoor air.
Irritation of Eyes, Nose, and Throat: Short-term exposure to formaldehyde can cause irritation of the eyes, nose, and throat. This can lead to symptoms such as tearing, itching, burning sensations, and a sore throat.
Skin Irritation: Direct contact with formaldehyde or exposure to formaldehyde-releasing products can cause skin irritation, including redness and itching.
Respiratory Symptoms: Inhalation of formaldehyde vapors can cause respiratory symptoms, including coughing, wheezing, and difficulty breathing. Individuals with pre-existing respiratory conditions may be more susceptible to these effects.
